Simachew Kebede Finally Gets out of Prison

Supreme Court Exonerates Fikru Maru

Justices of the Supreme Court have ruled acquitting Fikru Maru (MD), a cardiovascular specialist and hospital owner, overruling an earlier conviction of corruption given by a lower court which sentenced him to four years and eight months.

Court freezes assets of Tidhar Excavation and Earth Moving Ltd

The 18th Criminal Bench of the Federal High Court at Lideta Division ruled on July 27 to freeze the asset of the Israeli construction company Tidhar Excavation and Earth Moving Ltd. pursuant of the charges that were filed by the Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (FEACC).

The company’s assets will remain frozen until the hearing is over.
