A letter was sent to Ethiopian News Network (ENN) and Tigray TV, asking them to explain why the didn’t broadcast Ethiopian PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed support rally in Addis Ababa. The support rally where more than 1 million Ethiopians gathered in Mesqel Square was broadcast live on many media entities. The support rally was disrupted by a bomb attack which claimed the life of 1 person (as of june 28, 2018) and injured more than 130 people.
It is currently being speculated that ENN will stop transmission by July 1, 2018 due to sponsors dropping among other reasons.
