Tsehay Insurance Earns 30.2 million birr Net Profit for 2020/2019 budget year

Tsehay Insurance has reported that it has earned a gross written premium of 323 million birr. This amount is an increase of 23 million birr or 8% compared to the previous budget year. The company’s projection was to generate 357 million birr.

Total claims paid reached 232.9 million birr out of which 79% is for motor insurance related businesses.

The net profit of the bank reached 30.2 million birr. This amount is 3 million birr less than the profit earned in the previous year, which amounted 33.3 million birr.

The company’s total assets reached 688 million birr, which saw an increase by 89 million birr. The company’s capital reached 172.5 million birr, which saw an increase of 61.7 million birr compared to the previous year.
