Global Insurance company which started operations 20 years ago, has reported a gross profit of 85.3 million birr. The company paid 109 million birr claims out of which 87% was for motor insurance sector. The company’s Gross written premium reached 290 million birr from all sectors which showed a 67% increase compared to the previous year. 218 million birr was collected from motor insurance. 39.6 million birr was collected from different investments.

The company’s profit before tax for 2023/2022 fiscal year stood at 85.3 million birr while it’s net profit reached 67.1 million birr, increasing by 19 million birr compared to the previous year. The earning per share (EPS) showed a small increment compared to the previous year increasing from 145 to 150 for the current year.

Global insurance company managed to increase it’s assets to 821.1 million birr. The company’s paid up capital reached 196 million birr.

Global Insurance has 22+ branches while it’s total staff reached 196.
