Wegagen Bank has registered 1.1 billion birr profit for the 2020 / 2019 fiscal year. The bank which saw it’s profit decline by almost 300 million birr for the previous year has also managed to decrease it’s non performing loans from 4.5% to 2.8%.
The bank managed to generate revenue of 4.3 billion birr, which saw a increase by 34% compared to the previous year while total deposit of the bank reached 30 billion birr.
Wegagen bank managed to disperse loan worth 23.9 billion birr while opening 42 additional branches all over Ethiopia, making the total number branches, 382.
