According to Birhanu Nega, head of Ministry of education of Ethiopia, only 3.2% of students passed the exam. This means out of 845,188 students who took the exam, only 27,267 students got 50 ore more score and passed the exam.
The highest result for natural science stream was 649 which was in Addis Ababa while 533 was the highest score for social science stream in Debre Markos city.
In terms of schools, out of 3,106 schools, 1,328 schools did not have a single students who passed the exam while 5 schools were able to pass all the students who took the exam.
It was also reported that 483 students and 376 students as a group were punished for violating the examination guidelines and rules.

የ2015ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ፈተና ውጤት ይፋ ሆኗል፡፡
የትምህርት ሚኒስትር ብርሃኑ ነጋ (ፕ/ር) የ2015ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ፈተና ውጤትን አስመልክተው መግለጫ ሰጥተዋል፡፡
በመግለጫቸውም በፈተናው የማለፊያ ነጥብ ያመጡት 27 ሺህ 267 ተማሪዎች ወይም 3 ነጥብ 2 በመቶዎቹ ብቻ መሆናቸውን ተናግረዋል፡፡
ከፍተኛ ውጤት ከተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ 649 በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ሲመዘገብ÷ በማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ደግሞ 533 በደብረ ማርቆስ ከተማ ተመዝግቧል፡፡
አምስት ትምህርት ቤቶች ያስፈተኗቸውን ተማሪዎችን በሙሉ ማሳለፋቸውን ሚኒስትሩ ተናግረዋል፡፡
የፈተና መመሪያ እና ደንብ በመጣስ በግል 483 ተማሪዎች እንዲሁም በቡድን ደግሞ 376 ተማሪዎች መቀጣታቸውን አንስተዋል፡፡
