Dashen Bank S.C, one of the oldest banks in Ethiopia, has registered gross profit of 1.14 billion birr for 2018 / 17 fiscal year. The bank’s performance ranks 2nd among private banks in Ethiopia, below Awash Bank’s 1.96 billion birr and just above Wegagen Bank’s 1.06 billion birr profit.
The profit after tax reached 928.9 million birr and the EPS reached 430 birr per.
The bank managed to collect 8.1 billion birr and the Total deposit reached 36 billion birr. Compared to the previous years deposit, this has showed a 29% increase.
