The newly formed Ethiopian Employers’ Confederation is preparing to request the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the release of their colleague Sheik Mohammed Ali Al-Amoudi, Saudi-born Business tycoon and Chairman of MIDROC Ethiopia.
In a press conference the Confederation held today, it was announced that the Confederation will work for the release of one of the largest employers of the country. The confederation’s initiative is expected to complement Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s (PhD) recent request to the Government of Saudi Arabian regarding the release of Al-Amoudi.
According to Getahun Hussein (Eng.), the president of the Confederation, a letter requesting the release of Al-Amoudi will be sent to Saudi Arabia soon.
